A ball rail system is primarily used in general mechanics and tool manufacturing. Our ball rail systems are available in sizes ranging from 15 to 65 mm, with standard rail lengths up to 6000 mm. For applications requiring extended lengths, rails can be butt-jointed to achieve the desired size.

A typical ball rail system consists of one rail, one or two carriages, and optional accessories such as cover strips, scrapers, and more.

Description

A ball rail system provides equally high load ratings in all four load directions. It features a low noise level and is up to 60% lighter compared to all-steel systems. Our ball rail systems are equipped with a special corrosion-resistant coating, making them suitable for demanding environments.

Thanks to universal compatibility, all our ball rail components are interchangeable.

Ball rails

A ball rail and a carriage together form a complete ball rail system. Ball rails are available in various sizes and can be cut to custom lengths. For lengths exceeding 4 meters, butt-jointing is available.

Ball carriages

Also referred to as carriages, linear bearings, slides, or linear bushings, ball carriages are mounted onto the ball rail and, when combined with a ballscrew, perform the linear motion. Available in a variety of designs, sizes, preload classes, and tolerance classes, they are ideal for general automation and can handle loads from all directions.
